DB RRTS is a part of the DB group, a world-leading global railway company with an extensive organization in Germany and projects around the world. Our company offers a technically sophisticated and customized infrastructure, mobility, and transport solutions. We acquire, initiate, and manage rail operations and maintenance projects outside Europe. We are looking for transport and mobility enthusiasts and entrepreneurs with long-standing experience in railway operations and projects in India or worldwide. 

We are currently seeking you to build up and manage the operation and maintenance of a Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) and Mass Rapid Transport System (MRTS) business in Delhi, India. This 82km long Delhi-Meerut line will consist of 25 RRTS and 9 MRTS stations. This will include developing a local O&M company from scratch to full operations, developing and leading a passionate and performance driven team, steering quality, performance, and customer satisfaction as well as ensuring economic success in India.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Power Supply and Traction system department for DB RRTS. 
• Plan and implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure power supply & traction systems operate with high reliability and availability and safety.
• Ensure that the maintenance of electrical systems is carried out regularly and as per prescribed schedules to prevent unexpected breakdowns.
• Lead the diagnosis and troubleshooting of power supply or traction-related issues that may affect the operation.
• Supervise the emergency response in case of power failure, OHE breakdown or other electrical faults that impact operational services.
• Monitor energy consumption patterns of traction and other electrical systems and propose measures to improve energy efficiency.
• Ensure proper documentation of maintenance activities, including service records, inspection reports, and corrective actions taken.
• Oversee the planning and procurement within budget of essential materials, consumables, spares, and tools required for power supply and traction maintenance.
• Reviewing of OEM Manuals in line with operation and Maintenance of PST Assets.
• Lead investigations into the root causes of failures or breakdowns and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Associating with project team for witnessing testing and commissioning of Power Supply & Traction assets, closure of punch points and etc.
• Managed traction and auxiliary power network operations under both normal and emergency conditions. 
• Coordinate with UPPTCL and DTPL for maintenance planning and execution activities. 
• Planned and implemented OHE maintenance strategy, including manpower planning and technical training for maintenance teams. 
• Developed and implemented SOPs, work instructions, and safety protocols in line with operational standards. 
• Managed Safety Management System compliance for Engineering Directorate, ensuring safe system operations. 
• Led pre-handover inspections, identifying and closing snags prior to asset takeover. 
• Monitor and timely execution of preventive maintenance schedules using AMS (Maximo) aligned with MMS (Master Maintenance Schedule). 
• Monitor and ensure job plans, PM Plan and maintenance checklists (monthly, quarterly, yearly) are updated timely.
• Ensured tooling, spares planning, and inventory readiness for maintenance activities. 
• Reviewed contractor bills, raised observations, and validated measurement books for financial processing. 
• Participated in client progress review meetings and ensured cross-functional coordination for timely delivery. 
• Assist the Employer in CMRS inspection readiness and compliance. 
• Ensured strict adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance across all operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Power System Engineering.
• Minimum 15+years’ experience in power supply and traction system of railway, metro and RRTS.
• Knowledge on High- and medium voltage equipment with good understanding of testing, commissioning and operations and maintenance.
