For our project in Bangalore, we are currently looking for Senior CAD Engineer with a minimum 15 years of experience.




Responsibility:

•    Lead the preparation and review of General Arrangement (GA) drawings, detailed structural drawings, and reinforcement drawings for railway infrastructure projects.

•    Prepare steel structure drawings and complex detailing, where applicable.

•    Coordinate a team of CAD Engineers, ensuring quality, consistency, and timely de-livery of drawings.

•    Perform technical checking and validation of drawings, including dimensional accu-racy, reinforcement detailing, and compliance with design intent.

•    Act as an interface between Design Engineers, BIM Engineers, and the CAD team to resolve technical issues when required.

•    Ensure all drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and project-specific quality procedures.

•     Plan and monitor drawing production schedules and allocate work efficiently within the team.

•    Maintain revision control, and documentation in line with project requirements.

•    Mentoring team and implement & follow up Training plan

•    Contribution to Knowledge Management team

•    Verification (for Conformance) and approval of project deliverables in adherence to DB quality standards and guidelines. 

•    Responsible for on-time Project delivery 

•    Any other work / instructions given by the Manager 






Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Should possess min. 15 years of experience (Working experience in European Standards will be added advantage)
  • Experience in managing, guiding, and coordinating a team of CAD Engineers.
  • Strong capability to prepare, review, and validate Bridge GA drawings, reinforcement drawings, Prestressed Detailing, and detailed outline drawings. Experience in Steel Bridge Detailing will be a value add.
  • Knowledge of quality procedures, including dimensional and reinforcement detailing.
  • Experience in drafting and detailing for railway infrastructure projects 
  • Effective communication and coordination skills in English.
