For this project we are seeking a RAMS Expert

Responsibilities:


  • Review RAMS plans and submissions prepared by EPC contractors and system suppliers for all subsystems.
  • Assess RAMS allocation and targets, ensuring consistency with project performance requirements and high-speed operation needs.
  • Review reliability and availability analyses, including failure rate data, system availability calculations, and redundancy strategies.
  • Evaluate maintainability aspects, including maintenance concepts, access provisions, and maintainability indices (MTTR, maintenance regimes).
  • Review safety analyses, including:
  • Hazard Identification (HAZID)
  • Hazard Logs
  • Preliminary and detailed safety assessments
  • Verify compliance with applicable RAMS standards, including:
  • EN 50126 (RAMS lifecycle)
  • EN 50128 (software, where applicable)
  • EN 50129 (safety-related systems)
  • Assess interface-related RAMS aspects, ensuring that risks at subsystem boundaries are identified and addressed.
  • Provide value engineering inputs to improve system reliability, availability, and lifecycle cost without compromising safety.
  • Review testing, commissioning, and validation reports, ensuring that RAMS requirements are demonstrated prior to operation.
Qualifications

Qualification:


Bachelor’s degree in engineering.

Total Experience: Minimum 15 years in System Assurance for infrastructure projects.

HSR Experience: Minimum 4–6 years in High-Speed Rail or major railway projects.
