We are hiring for the position of Deputy Chief Expert – Integration, Testing and Commissioning

Responsibilities:

 

1.Lead the planning and execution of System Integration, Testing & Commissioning (ITC) for Signalling, Telecom, IDS and OCC subsystems, ensuring seamless interoperability, interface compatibility, and operational readiness in accordance with project and safety requirements.
 
 2.Develop and implement comprehensive ITC and System Integration Plans, incorporating contractor inputs, Interface Control Documents (ICDs), international standards, operational scenarios, and configuration baselines to demonstrate system readiness for commercial operations.
 
 3.Manage and technically supervise System Integration Testing (SIT), Factory Integration Testing (FIT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and Operational Scenario Testing, ensuring end-to-end functionality including train control, OCC supervision, communication systems, and field interfaces.
 
 4.Oversee and grant final technical acceptance of integrated S&T-OCC systems, based on successful completion of prototype, subsystem, interface, serial, and system tests, ensuring compliance with contractual, operational, and RAMS requirements.
 
 5.Manage system interface coordination and resolve integration issues between Signalling (ETCS/IXL), Telecom, Radio (LTE-R/FRMCS), OCC, Radio, IDS, SCADA and Rolling stock ensuring proper data communication, functional performance, and system reliability.
 
 6.Plan, coordinate, and supervise trial tests and trial runs, validating integrated system performance under normal, degraded, and emergency operating conditions to ensure safe and reliable railway operations.
 
 7.Lead statutory approval and certification processes, including preparation and submission of integration safety documentation and coordination with CMRS, RDSO, and Independent Safety Assessor (ISA) for system authorization and commissioning approval.
 
 8.Any other roles and responsibilities required to be performed to complete the project and assigned by PD and Client(NHSRCL).
 
This position stands in for all roles and responsibilities of the Chief Expert-Integration, Testing and Commissioning during his absence.

Qualifications

Engineering Graduate with overall 15 years, or Engineering Diploma with overall 18 years of experience in Rail-based Transit System project
 
Min 8 years of experience in integration of Systems during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project.
