For our consulting team in Near / Middle East, we are looking for a passionate System/ Technical Interface Manager (m/f/d) to deliver unique and modern consulting solutions for our customers across the region. The focus of this position is the management of the railway project and is an exciting career opportunity to grow professionally in a team of senior railway engineers.
- Ensuring that all the Interfaces between all contractors have been identified, recorded and are managed correctly across the Project
- Responsible for all aspects of the interfaces including the Interface Control & Definition Documents (ICDDs) and the maintenance of an up to date interface register identifying open actions and action owners and timescales for delivery
- Create the plan, process and procedures to manage Interfaces
- Plan hardware and software interfaces
- Chair/Participate in meetings with all relevant stakeholders regarding interface management progress and issues
- Define and agree with Work Group Managers on weekly and monthly strategy for their set of ICDDs (way forward and Prioritization)
- Create and send RFIs and Letters related to Overall interface Management
- Plan and manage schedule of interface resolution, upon agreement with involved parties as well as act on Critical issues for resolution
- Ensure that all new technology systems meet the relevant local requirements
- Monitor/track Verification and Validation of Interfaces, alongside Quality and T&C teams
- University degree in Railway Engineering, Railway Systems, Electronics, Civil or similar
- At least 15 and preferably 20 years of experience in major infrastructure projects, preferably as an Interface Manager in railway-related projects
- Proven experience in the field of interface management and railway infrastructure projects
- Team management / Leadership skills
- Strong Communication Skills
- International working experience leading multicultural teams advantageous
- Excellent personal administration skills (conduct presentations, working to agreed deadlines etc.)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Willingness to relocate to Near / Middle East
- Excellent English skills, Arabic is advantageous.
