The project - NHSRCL Mumbai-Ahmedabad - Mumbai, India. We are hiring for the position of Site Engineer OCC.

Responsibilities:

• Support design review and site implementation of OCC systems, including control room layout, operator consoles, video wall, server rooms, and network infrastructure, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, power, earthing, EMC/EMI, and cyber-security requirements.
• Supervise installation and testing of OCC equipment at site, including servers, workstations, networking systems, and control consoles, ensuring readiness for FAT, SAT, and Integration Testing & Commissioning (ITC).
• Coordinate OCC interfaces with Signalling (ETCS/IXL), Radio (LTE-R/FRMCS), Telecom backbone, SCADA, and Rolling Stock, verifying physical connections, communication links, and interface readiness during testing.
• Witness and support OCC system testing and commissioning, including SAT, integration testing, and trial run activities, ensuring proper functionality of centralized train monitoring and control systems.
• Maintain installation records, test reports, and interface documentation, track punch points, and coordinate with contractors for timely rectification and closure.
• Assist senior experts in obtaining statutory approvals, supporting inspections, documentation, and coordination with ISA, CMRS, and client teams for OCC system commissioning.
• Monitor contractor progress and verify completed works at site, supporting certification of installation completion and reporting deviations to senior management.
• Act as site focal point for OCC activities, coordinating daily with contractors, signalling, telecom, and project teams, and supporting the Chief Expert / Deputy Chief Expert OCC during site execution and commissioning.

• Engineering Graduate/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics stream or equivalent.
• Engineering Graduate with 05 years, or Engineering Diploma with 07 years of experience in implementing S&T System at OCC during construction phase in Railbased Transit System project(s)(i).
• OCC Installation, Testing & Commissioning: Hands-on experience in installation, configuration, and supporting FAT, SAT, and integration testing of OCC systems including operator workstations, video wall, servers, and networking equipment.
• System Interface & Coordination: Knowledge of OCC interfaces with Signalling (ETCS/IXL), Telecom, Radio (LTE-R/FRMCS), SCADA, and Rolling Stock, with ability to coordinate testing and resolve interface issues.
• Technical Documentation & Fault Handling: Skilled in reading OCC drawings, network diagrams, and test procedures, identifying faults, maintaining test records, and supporting system commissioning and approvals.
