Deliver Egypt’s first High Speed Rail Service with DBEE. DBEE is a joint venture between DB International Operations and Elsewedy Electric. DB International Operations provides rail operations and maintenance worldwide; Elsewedy Electric, global energy and infrastructure solutions provider. Together, we combine strong local capabilities with proven global railway expertise to enable efficient, safe and sustainable passenger and freight mobility on Egypt’s first High Speed Rail network. We are looking for transport and mobility professionals with substantial experience in railway operations and projects in Egypt or worldwide. Join us to deliver this landmark project in Cairo.

The Trainer Operations Control Center (OCC) is responsible for designing, delivering, and evaluating specialized training programs for all OCC personnel, including traffic controllers, dispatchers, rolling stock controllers, crew controllers, and incident coordinators. This role ensures that all OCC staff are fully equipped with the technical knowledge, operational skills, decision-making capabilities, and safety awareness required to manage and control a high-speed railway network.


Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, update, and monitor training programs for the OCC (Operations Control Center) staff, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Conduct initial and ongoing training sessions for OCC personnel, including new hires and existing staff, to enhance their operational knowledge and skills.
  • Prepare training materials, including presentations, manuals, and other resources, to support effective training delivery.
  • Collaborate with OCC management to identify training needs and develop training plans that align with operational requirements and organizational goals.
  • Ensure the quality of training by conducting assessments, evaluations, and feedback sessions to measure trainees' progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with other departments and stakeholders to coordinate cross-functional training initiatives and ensure a comprehensive understanding of OCC processes and procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of OCC operations, technologies, and industry best practices to incorporate into training programs.
  • Monitor and track the completion of training requirements for OCC staff, maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Provide training support and guidance to OCC trainers and assist in their professional development.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the OCC by promoting training opportunities and encouraging staff engagement.
Kvalifikationer
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree/MBA in a relevant field (e.g., Operations Management, Transportation, Engineering) or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in OCC operations or a related field, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of control center functions.
  • Adult education
  • Proven knowledge of compliance regulations and industry standards applicable to OCC operations.
  • Certification in OCC operations or related areas is preferred.
  • Affinity with railway operations and familiarity with relevant safety protocols and procedures.

  • Deep understanding of OCC operations and the ability to analyse and recommend process improvements for enhanced efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Fluency in written and spoken English, with proficiency in Arabic for effective communication with Arabic-speaking individuals.
