We deliver railway expertise to our clients in Central Asia and expand our team of consultants willing to acquire and deliver projects in different countries of the region. We are looking currently for a Consultant for Railway Projects to support various engineering and consulting projects and to become part of our local team in Tashkent.




Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and evaluation of business development initiatives, such as market analysis and preparation of offers and tenders
  • Contribute to the management and coordination of various international railway infrastructure projects (e.g. electrification projects, bus projects, EU-funded projects)
  • Support planning and implementation activities, including project documentation, scheduling, and progress reporting
  • Participate in the analysis and development of feasibility studies for mobility and public transport projects
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, facilitating communication between technical and business teams
  • Help ensure compliance with project requirements, timelines, and quality standards
  • Provide analytical and administrative support to both technical and commercial project components
  • Assist with research and preparation of presentations for meetings and client engagements
  • Multitask across a variety of subjects and workstreams within the organization
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of project and business processes

Kvalifikationer
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics or comparable field, ideally with additional technical knowledge or experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in consulting, infrastructure, public transport, or related industries
  • Initial practical experience in business consulting, auditing, controlling, or related fields is an advantage
  • First exposure to technical topics, preferably in infrastructure, public transport, or railway indus-tries is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and in teams, open to multitasking and varied tasks
  • Strong communication skills (English and Russian or Uzbek; German is a plus)
  • Analytical mindset with a hands-on approach
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Uzbekistan as required
