DB RRTS is a part of the DB group, a world-leading global railway company with an extensive organization in Germany and projects around the world. Our company offers a technically sophisticated and customized infrastructure, mobility, and transport solutions. We acquire, initiate, and manage rail operations and maintenance projects outside Europe. We are looking for transport and mobility enthusiasts and entrepreneurs with long-standing experience in railway operations and projects in India or worldwide. 


We are currently seeking you to build up and manage the operation and maintenance of a Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) and Mass Rapid Transport System (MRTS) business in Delhi, India. This 82km long Delhi-Meerut line will consist of 25 RRTS and 9 MRTS stations. This will include developing a local O&M company from scratch to full operations, developing and leading a passionate and performance driven team, steering quality, performance, and customer satisfaction as well as ensuring economic success in India.


Responsibilities:


• Plan, execute, and supervise scheduled Preventive Maintenance activities for LTE, TETRA, MCX, and DAS systems in accordance with approved SOPs.

• Ensure PM completion within defined maintenance windows with full SOP/EOP compliance.

• Prepare and submit PM reports, checklists, and maintenance logs in required formats.

• Monitor system health parameters, KPIs, and performance trends post-PM execution.

• Lead fault isolation, troubleshooting, and system restoration for LTE and associated telecom systems within SLA timelines.

• Independently diagnose hardware, software, and network-level failures using NMS/NetAct and field diagnostics.

• Escalate complex failures to OEM with detailed fault analysis and coordinate resolution.

• Maintain fault registers, incident logs, and downtime records with accurate technical entries.

• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for all major/recurring failures and submit structured RCA reports.

• Define and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions to eliminate recurrence.

• Participate in incident review meetings and present technical findings.

• Prepare and maintain PM reports, CM reports, failure analyses, RCA documents, FAT/SAT/PAT records, and interface documents.

• Maintain up-to-date system configuration records, As-Built drawings, and SOP registers.

• Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in strict compliance with safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and operational safety rules.

• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for field teams prior to maintenance activities.

• Supervise and guide junior engineers and field technicians during maintenance activities.

• Support training and competency development of team members on LTE system operations.

• Evaluate field team performance and provide technical guidance during operational failures.



Kvalifikationer

Qualifications:


• B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics & Communication / Telecommunications / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in Telecom / LTE / TETRA / DAS system maintenance in a field environment.

• Proven fault isolation and troubleshooting capability on LTE RAN / EPC / NMS systems.

• Prior experience in Metro Rail, Airport, or other mission-critical communication infrastructure.

• Exposure to LTE level 1 and 2 maintenance environment.

• RF planning experience with tools.

• Familiarity with MCPTT / MCX / DMR network design and integration.
