DB Cargo UK is currently recruiting for a Marketing Manager on an 18-month fixed term contract to join our Communications Team based at our Head Office in Doncaster. 


Within this role you will gain experience across the full breadth of communications disciplines.  


The Communications Team at DB Cargo manages all internal and external communications to and about the business. It is  responsible for the development and distribution  of newsletters and social media posts, as well as putting together business campaigns. They are a vital part in building our brand and ensuring employees are aware of any changes and good news.    


Your role as Marketing Manager will be to engage with internal and external stakeholders and keep them informed on company developments. You will work to deliver the business strategy to increase employee awareness, promote a positive brand image and reputation. Additionally, you will work with external media and other interested parties to announce new products and services and highlight organisational developments in a way that maintains and advances the company’s reputation. 


Experience of managing third party creative agencies would be beneficial. 


We are offering a salary of between £40,000 – 45,000 (depending on experience) based on 37 hours per week.

Responsabilidades

What will you be doing?


As Marketing Manager you will share your time between internal and external projects. 


Internally, you will ensure our employees are aware of changes and projects, distribute executive messages, prepare presentations and internal memos, and conduct meetings to share information. You will work with internal stakeholders to drive engagement.  


You will work with internal stakeholders to create product marketing and media plans based on market intelligence. 


Alongside this, you will lead digital and social media developments within the business and drive the shift towards online communications.  


You will create a companywide marketing strategy and all associated campaign collateral and report the effectiveness and reach of each media utilised.  


Additionally, you will be responsible for the creation and distribution of print and digital materials, branding strategies for employee and external use to support campaigns or convey the company's policies or position on topics. You will be involved in the issuing of press releases, arranging interviews and compiling press kits. 


As a member of the Communication Team, you will have a key role to play in forging stronger links with the media, the general public, stakeholders and interested parties. In doing so you will support company events in preparation, organisation and delivery. You will also deputise for the Head of Communications when required. 

Qualificações

What are we looking for?  


We are looking for someone with experience of digital and social media with a degree in Marketing, Communications or another relevant discipline.  


We are looking for someone with experience in applications such as Microsoft Suite, Adobe Suite, including InDesign and Canva.  


You will be able to create strong working relationships at all levels.  


You will be self-motivated and be able to organise and manage your own workloads to meet deadlines.  


You will have a good command of the English language which includes written, verbal and presentation skills. 


You will hold five GCSEs including Maths and English 


Full Driving licence
