For a future rail project in India we are looking for a Chief Expert IDS (Intruder Detection System).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the technical strategy, planning, and oversight for the Intruder Detection System across all MAHSR system packages.
  • Review and validate IDS designs, specifications, and contractor submissions to ensure compliance with HSR safety and security standards.
  • Develop and maintain IDS functional requirements, interface requirements, and integration principles with signalling, telecom, power, and civil works.
  • Coordinate site planning for sensors, cameras, perimeter detection equipment, and communication infrastructure.
  • Oversee testing, verification, validation, and commissioning activities related to IDS performance and system integration.
  • Ensure cybersecurity, data integrity, and operational reliability of all IDS components and data flows.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to intrusions, perimeter security, and system vulnerabilities, recommending mitigation measures.
  • Advise the client on IDS‑related technical issues, contractor coordination, and compliance with international safety and security standards.
Kwalifikacje
Qualifications:

  • 20 years professional experience in railways/metro projects
  • 10 years experience as Chief Expert IDS or on equivalent positions on Metro/Railway/HSR projects
  • 2 years experience as Chief Expert IDS in railway projects with more than 250km/h operational speed
  • Proficiency in English
