Deliver Egypt’s first High Speed Rail Service with DBEE. DBEE is a joint venture between DB International Operations and Elsewedy Electric. DB International Operations provides rail operations and maintenance worldwide; Elsewedy Electric, global energy and infrastructure solutions provider. Together, we combine strong local capabilities with proven global railway expertise to enable efficient, safe and sustainable passenger and freight mobility on Egypt’s first High Speed Rail network. We are looking for transport and mobility professionals with substantial experience in railway operations and projects in Egypt or worldwide. Join us to deliver this landmark project in Cairo.
Reporting to the Manager IT, the M365 and Cloud Administrator is responsible for ensuring the company's Microsoft 365 and Azure environment is operated securely, configured correctly, and in line with the organization's governance standards. You are successful in this role when the platforms are healthy and compliant, configuration drift is caught and corrected early, and users experience reliable and secure services. You will translate platform standards into consistent day-to-day operations, keeping documentation accurate and services running at the quality the organization depends on.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain the M365 tenant including Entra ID, user and group management, licensing, and service health monitoring, keeping documentation and runbooks accurate and current.
  • Monitor Azure and M365 configurations against established governance standards, identifying and resolving drift before it becomes a compliance or security risk.
  • Administer core collaboration services including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, ensuring configurations, permissions, and retention policies remain correct and fit for purpose.
  • Ensure endpoint compliance through Intune and Autopilot, verifying that device configurations, update rings, and Conditional Access policies consistently reflect the defined security baseline.
  • Oversee data protection and email security controls including DLP policies, sensitivity labels, and audit logging, flagging gaps or violations to the Manager IT Operations.
  • Monitor Azure resource configurations for compliance with organizational standards, escalating non-compliant deployments and supporting remediation.
  • Handle escalations from the IT Service Desk, resolving complex M365 and Azure access issues efficiently and feeding recurring problems back into improved documentation or permanent fixes.
  • Drive automation of routine compliance checks and administration tasks using PowerShell and Microsoft Graph, reducing manual effort and improving consistency.
  • Participate in change management processes, reviewing M365 and Azure changes for alignment with governance standards before deployment.
  • Track and report on platform KPIs including service availability, configuration compliance, and policy coverage, providing the Manager IT Operations with a clear and current picture of platform health.
Qualifiche
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 and Entra ID in an enterprise environment.
  • Practical experience with Intune, Autopilot, Defender for Endpoint, and Conditional Access policies.
  • Confident administering Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive including mail flow, retention, and permissions.
  • Proficient in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph for administration and automation tasks.
  • Familiarity with Azure governance concepts including resource compliance, role assignments, and policy monitoring.
  • A compliance and detail oriented mindset, with strong habits around documentation, change management, and configuration accuracy.
  • Comfortable working within defined standards and governance guardrails, with the judgment to flag when something does not align rather than working around it.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus, particularly Microsoft MS-102 (Microsoft 365 Administrator), AZ-104 (Azure Administrator), or SC-300 (Identity and Access Administrator).
  • Arabic required; strong working proficiency in English essential.
