1) Design review and approve of ETCS Signalling System such as end to end Signalling Design, Architecture, System Configuration, V&V, RTM, Specifications, signalling plans, control tables, BoC, Room layouts, engineering / SW baselines etc. Manuals (O&M, Training, Spares etc) and ensure the EMC/EMI, Cyber Security, Spares, Training and other revelant compliance.
 
 2) Installation, Testing &   Integration Commissioning: Coordinate the overall ITC stages inspections with Contractor (FAT, IAT, PAT, SAT, ITC)  Onboard, Static and Dynamic Test,  ETCS function tests, high‑speed trials, operational control runs etc.
 
 3) Manage and Coordinate  of ETCS Signalling system with Contractors  by review and approve the Interface Control Documents (ICDs), Alignment of Design inputs to Contractors, Oversee the integration of the ETCS Signalling System with RBC, LEU, TMS, Radio (LTE‑R/5G), Telecom Subsystems, Track, Rolling Stock, IDS, OCC, Asset Management System, Traction power, Civil/MEP and other dependent systems, including final review and approval of interface documentation.
 
 4) Review and Certify the Payment for completed works as per Cost Center and evaluate variation orders and claims while providing technical and contractual support to the Client.
  
 5) Assist client in obtaining statutory approvals and coordination assistance with various agencies for ISA, CMRS for successful completion of Project
 
 6) Ensure compliance with all DB E&C policies, procedures, and ethical standards
 
 7) Undertake any additional duties assigned by the Client, Chief Signalling Expert, PD and DB HQ.
 
8) Act as the designated representative of Chief Expert – Signalling System, assuming full responsibility for all roles, duties, and decision-making authority during his absence.
