We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Training Manager (m/f/d) for a Technical Advisory program for OSE in Athens, Greece. As Training Manager, you will be responsible to oversees the de-sign, implementation, and evaluation of employee training programs for the Greek Railways in collabo-ration with both DB E&C team members and the client OSE to ensure successful and sustainable operations. Your focus will be to assess training needs, develop training plans, and manage resources to ensure programs align with organizational goals.



Responsibilities:

  • Identifying and analyzing training needs within the organization through various methods, such as surveys, performance data, and feedback from employees and managers.
  • Designing and developing training programs, including creating training materials, selecting ap-propriate training methods (e.g., workshops, e-learning, on-the-job training), and establishing learning objectives.
  • Coordinating and delivering training programs, scheduling training sessions, managing logistics, and ensuring a smooth and effective learning experience.
  • Measuring the effectiveness of training programs through various evaluation methods (e.g., assessments, feedback forms, performance metrics), analyzing results, and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Managing training budgets, allocating resources effectively, and ensuring cost-efficiency in training delivery.
  • Working with various stakeholders, including employees, managers, HR teams, and external training providers, to identify needs, align training with business goals, and ensure effective program delivery.
  • Keeping up to date with the latest training trends, technologies, and best practices to ensure training programs are relevant and effective.
  • Providing guidance and support to trainers and employees participating in training programs.
Qualifiche
Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed university degree in business management, education or similar and relevant professional experience in a comparable, complex role
  • Strong background in railway operation, maintenance and management standards
  • Very good understanding of railway qualification requirements in compliance with European directives and regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide feedback, coaching, and training to employees and managers
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in similar tasks
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in leadership
  • You impress with your impartial moderation skills and intercultural sensitivity
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Fluency in English mandatory; German and Greek would be an advantage
  • Familiarity with Greek administrative business standards
