We are seeking a QA/QC Manager as part of DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH, Riyadh Branch. The job opening is located in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and offers exciting challenges and potential for career growth.



Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for establishing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Assurance and Quality Control systems during the design review and construction supervision phases of the project. 
  • Ensures compliance with contractual requirements, international standards, regulatory codes, and project specifications to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Develop and implement the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP).
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality standards.
  • Establish quality procedures, inspection plans, and documentation controls.
  • Conduct internal quality audits and compliance reviews.
  • Review design deliverables for compliance with project scope, codes, and standards.
  • Ensure multidisciplinary coordination and clash resolution.
  • Verify adherence to client specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Track design review comments and closure status.
  • Oversee site inspections and testing activities.
  • Monitor contractor QA/QC procedures and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Review material submittals, method statements, and shop drawings.
  • Ensure proper documentation of NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and corrective actions.
  • Identify, document, and track quality issues.
  • Ensure the successful implementation of an effective reporting system aligned to the best practices of DB E&C.


Képzettség
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field. Chartership preferred.
  • Professional certification such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or CQE preferred
  • At least 15 years of experience in QA/QC management in infrastructure projects, including at least 10 years of experience in railway projects. Proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams. 
  • Strong knowledge of international standards (ISO, ASTM, BS, ACI, etc.).
  • Experience in design review and construction supervision environments.
  • Have working experience in KSA or another GCC country.
  • Demonstrated initiative, drive, leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and quest for optimization.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well organization and planning skills.
  • Ability to work in a cooperative team environment, with stakeholders from very different fields.
  • Excellent communication skills – fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking) 
  • Arabic language communication skills will be an advantage. 
  • User skills in MS Office applications.
  • Driving license required to drive to site or to technical meetings with the client representative.
