We are seeking an Interface Manager as part of DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH, Riyadh Branch. The job opening is located in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and offers exciting challenges and potential for career growth.




Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, managing, and coordinating all technical, contractual, and organizational interfaces during the design review and construction supervision phases. 
  • Ensures seamless integration between disciplines, contractors, stakeholders, and external authorities to prevent conflicts, delays, and scope gaps. 
  • Develop and implement the Project Interface Management Plan.
  • Establish interface registers and tracking systems.
  • Define interface responsibilities across all stakeholders.
  • Ensure alignment with overall project governance and communication protocols. 
  • Identify and manage multidisciplinary design interfaces (civil, structural, architectural, MEP, utilities).
  • Ensure design packages are fully coordinated and free from clashes.
  • Track interface issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Facilitate design, coordination, meetings and technical workshops. 
  • Monitor physical and operational interfaces between contractors and subcontractors.
  • Coordinate work boundaries, access constraints, and sequencing requirements.
  • Ensure consistency between approved design and on-site execution.
  • Resolve cross-package conflicts impacting schedule or quality. 
  • Manage interfaces with utility providers, government authorities, and adjacent projects.
  • Ensure timely approvals and clearances from regulatory bodies.
  • Coordinate integration with existing infrastructure and operational systems. 
  • Ensure the successful implementation of an effective reporting system aligned to the best practices of DB E&C.
Képzettség
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline. Chartership preferred.
  • At least 15 years of experience in interface management in infrastructure projects, including at least 10 years of experience in railway projects. Proven experience in leading multi-disciplinary teams. 
  • Strong understanding of multidisciplinary coordination and interface. 
  • Experience in design review and construction supervision environments. 
  • Have working experience in KSA or another GCC country.
  • Demonstrated initiative, drive, leadership, communication, interpersonal skills, and quest for optimization.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well organization and planning skills.
  • Ability to work in a cooperative team environment, with stakeholders from very different fields.
  • Excellent communication skills – fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking) 
  • Arabic language communication skills will be an advantage. 
  • User skills in MS Office applications.
  • Driving license required to drive to site or to technical meetings with the client representative.
