The project - NHSRCL Mumbai-Ahmedabad - Mumbai, India. We are hiring for the position of Chief Expert-RAMS (Roll on/Roll off).

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the GC’s principal RAMS authority, leading governance, assurance strategy, audits, stage gate reviews, and multidisciplinary Assurance Boards, while maintaining and enforcing the Project RAMS Management Plan.
  • Provide end-to-end System Assurance oversight, including RAMS requirements allocation, flow-down, compliance monitoring, and approval of core deliverables (RMPs, Safety Plans, Hazard Logs, FMECA, FTA, RBDs, SIL artefacts, LCC models, Safety Cases). 
  • Lead full hazard lifecycle management, ensuring robust risk assessment, ALARP justification, cross-discipline traceability, and verification of mitigation effectiveness through integration, testing, and operational trials.
  • Drive RAMS integration across all disciplines Civil, Track, Signalling, Rolling Stock, Power, OCS, Telecom, SCADA, Stations & Depot, ensuring ICD alignment and supporting V&V, integration testing, commissioning readiness, and operational trials.
  • Act as the single point of contact for ISA and statutory approvals, supporting coordination with CMRS and other regulatory agencies, ensuring timely closure of observations, and leading the development and consolidation of the System Safety Case.
  • Monitor and report assurance performance, tracking reliability growth, maintainability metrics, subsystem readiness, and trial run preparations, and delivering dashboards, risk summaries, and technical reports to senior management and the Client.
  • Ensure compliance with all DB E&C policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Undertake any additional duties assigned by the Client,  Project Director, and DB HQ.
Compétences
  • Engineering Graduate in Electrical / Electronics stream or equivalent.
  • Total Experiece: Overall 20 years of experience in Railways/Metro. 
  • Relevant Experience: 10 years of experience in management of RAMS/System Assurance during construction phase in  Rail-based Transit System project(s)(i).
  • Working-level expertise in EN 50126 / EN 50128 / EN 50129, IEC safety standards, and international RAMS practices. 
  • Hands-on experience with RAM modelling, FMECA, FTA, Hazard Logs, Safety Plans, and Safety Case preparation. 
  • Familiarity with interface management, integration testing, validation & verification (V&V) processes. 
  • Experience interacting with ISA, client authorities, EPC / Systems contractors and mul-tidisciplinary engineering teams.
