Join our team as a Customer Service Team Leader – Gateway!
 

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ready to lead a dynamic team in air export operations? We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Customer Service Team Leader to drive operational excellence and ensure outstanding service for our customers.

  • Location: Heathrow, UK
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:30

 


What Will You Be Doing?

In this role, you’ll:

  • Provide efficient and proactive import and export services to customers, overseas partners, and service providers.
  • Manage all aspects of the Gateway department, ensuring operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Continuously review and improve operational and customer service processes.
  • Investigate and resolve queries and complaints promptly for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Lead the team to meet KPIs in operations, customer service, administration, overtime, and absenteeism.
  • Prepare monthly GP results and review unbilled/loss reports, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Ensure customer invoicing and SAP query tools are completed in line with KPIs, and that the policies are followed.

About You

You are:

  • Experienced in air export operations and customer service, with a strong understanding of industry processes.
  • A confident leader with a track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, capable of identifying and driving process improvements.
  • A strong communicator, able to resolve issues effectively and build solid relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Financially aware, with experience managing invoicing and preparing GP results.
