Maintenance Dispatcher Planners act as the central coordination hub for all work scheduling and re-source deployment across the network. Their purpose is to ensure that inspections, maintenance tasks, logistics, and access windows are efficiently organised and executed in alignment with operational constraints and SAR safety rules. They link OCC, field teams, engineering, and documentation flows to keep the maintenance program moving smoothly.
- Develop and update rolling short- and medium-term maintenance schedules and coordinate track access with OCC.
- Create, manage, and track Maximo work orders, ensuring documentation and SLA compliance.
- Prioritise corrective, urgent, and preventive tasks based on TEF forms and mechanised inspection findings.
- Dispatch resources—crews, machinery, tools—per district demand and planned activities.
- Maintain daily logs, including inspection windows, temperatures, delays, and incidents; issue shift and weekly reports.
- Coordinate emergency response in cases of sand intrusion, rail defects, or accidents, ensuring timely communication with OCC and field teams.
- Track tool and equipment calibration availability for planned work.
- Obtain all necessary permits and licenses to work
- Support audits by preparing Maximo extracts, TEF documentation, and permit records.
- Experience in maintenance planning, dispatching, or scheduling within railway or industrial environments; Maximo preferred.
- Understanding of SAR inspection processes, TEF forms, defect classifications, and MAC codes.
- Strong coordination capability with OCC and field teams under active railway operations.
- Ability to translate mechanised inspection outputs into actionable job plans.
- Skills in resource allocation, shift planning, and permit/access management.
- Knowledge of calibration requirements and tool availability planning.
- Competence in creating structured daily/weekly/monthly KPI reports.
- Awareness of SMS principles and ability to integrate safe work sequencing into planning.
- Certification at Saudi Council of Engineers of advantage.
