Responsabilités

We are looking for you as a Technical Project Manager (f/m/x) for an upcoming project of DB International Operations in Canada.


Join us to develop the future of North American rail travel and create a unique lighthouse project. We are looking for transport and mobility enthusiasts with long-standing experience in railway operations and projects in Canada or worldwide to be part of this unique project in case of contract award.


Your Tasks:


Technical Project Manager will support the Project Management Lead in the project development and preparation of deliverables, as well as all associated activities for railway systems, including infrastructure development, railway operations and maintenance services. Key responsibilities for the Technical Project Manager includes:


  • Define and manage the requirements to be developed based on client needs.
  • Prepare and manage the project plan, including timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements, to ensure successful preparation of the deliverables.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, and resources to ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Assist with the development of the project and deliverables, including drafting sections and ensuring compliance with requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, such as the project team, customers, and suppliers, to ensure timely delivery of deliverables components.
  • Monitor and report on proposal progress, including tracking proposal status, identifying potential issues, and providing regular updates to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project team members and stakeholders to ensure that project goals are met and that stakeholders are kept informed of project status.
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations and other materials for internal purposes or proposal delivery to customers.
Compétences

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering sciences or related field; Master's degree beneficial.
  • 3+ years of experience in project management and development of railway systems solutions, preferably in railway infrastructure, operations and/or maintenance.
  • Technical expertise in railway systems, including familiarity with railway infrastructure, track, signaling, train control, and communication systems.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing proposals or projects to successful completion.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate and coordinate project teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or MS Project is required.
  • Strong English and French written, verbal, communication and interpersonal skills.


Overall, the Technical Project Manager will play a crucial role in the successful development and implementation of a comprehensive railway systems project. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and strong collaboration skills to ensure that the project deliverables are comprehensive and can be timely delivered. To be successful in this role, strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills will be needed, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
