We are seeking a Depot Equipment Engineer as a part of our DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH, KSA Branch. The job opening is located in Saudi Arabia and offers exciting challenges and potential for career growth.

Responsibilities:
- Providing expert knowledge for overseeing the design, installation, maintenance and optimization of equipment used in rail depots;
- Ensuring that all depot equipment operates efficiently and safely, supporting overall railway operations;
- Design and oversee the installation of depot equipment, including maintenance vehicles, lifting systems, and repair tools;
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the reliability and safety of all depot equipment;
- Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support for depot equipment, addressing any operational issues promptly;
- Monitor equipment performance and analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and oppor-tunities for improvement;
- Ensure all equipment complies with safety regulations and industry standards, conducting regular inspections and risk assessments;
- Work closely with depot operations, engineering teams, and vendors to coordinate equipment needs and upgrades;
- Develop training materials and conduct sessions for depot staff on equipment operation and maintenance best practices;
- Monitor the scheduling of material and equipment purchases and deliveries from the ‘Contractor’;
- Meeting regularly with the Project team to provide project updates/progress and share and fol-low up on relevant information with external parties and the Client;
- Assisting in the preparation of technical progress reports in the English language.
- B.Sc. degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or similar;
- Minimum 15 years of professional experience in equipment engineering or maintenance within a railways and transport projects on similar position;
- Previous experience with comparable projects in the Middle East region and experience in KSA advantage;
- Experience in Site Supervision and management in the design, supply, installation, testing & commissioning of equipment in depot facilities in metro and other railway transport projects;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with internal teams, external stakeholders, and regulatory authorities;
- Ability to communicate technical concepts and provide a good level of guidance and supervi-sion to more junior staff;
- Fluent in both English & Arabic language. Excellent communication skills, written and verbal, are essential to success in this role;
- IT Literate and experience with MS Office Applications (MS Office), Outlook, Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, and Share Point Online;
- Driving license required in order to perform assigned duties.
