The Senior Cloud Consultant (Product Owner) within the business unit “Global Operations & Infrastructure Services" is responsible for supporting DB Schenker’s Global Cloud projects and activities in an agile team environment, building our modern multi-hybrid-cloud platform. It is part of the Consulting team within the Global Platform Services unit, providing IT solutions to Schenker all over the world.
This role significantly contributes to the DB Schenker Cloud Journey by driving and supporting the onboarding activities of existing and new workloads to the Schenker Cloud Platform. Furthermore, this person will be part of the extended Cloud Services Team - evangelizing and training existing and fresh staff in a global environment in new ways of working with an agile mindset.
- Become part of a global team spanning multiple regions and time zones all over the world
- Act as Product Owner role in an agile team setup that creates cloud-based solutions for our internal customers
- Manage the stakeholders on all sides in the best interest of the company
- Ensure proper reporting to management level in overarching alignment calls across multiple agile teams
- Give insight and guidance to the members through a good understanding of our customers’ requirements
- Take responsibility for the success of the agile team and drive the value the team provides to new heights
- Ensure that Schenker standards are always met with provided solutions and services
- Act as entrepreneur towards DB Schenker teams and internal customers, maintaining a high degree of communication with the stakeholders
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Several years of experience in IT related industries
- Good understanding of enterprise grade public cloud computing and orchestration is mandatory
- An agile mindset is absolutely necessary, with at least some experience in the Product Owner role
- Strong interpersonal and communicative skills
- Experience with common tools used in agile environments (Jira, Confluence)
- Ability to work effectively across diverse global organizations, groups, and functions
- Basic knowledge of ITIL processes
- Willingness for occasional national and international travel
- Fluent English (written and spoken)
