DB RRTS is a part of the DB group, a world-leading global railway company with an extensive organization in Germany and projects around the world. Our company offers a technically sophisticated and customized infrastructure, mobility, and transport solutions. We acquire, initiate, and manage rail operations and maintenance projects outside Europe. We are looking for transport and mobility enthusiasts and entrepreneurs with long-standing experience in railway operations and projects in India or worldwide.

We are currently seeking you to build up and manage the operation and maintenance of a Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) and Mass Rapid Transport System (MRTS) business in Delhi, India. This 82km long Delhi-Meerut line will consist of 25 RRTS and 9 MRTS stations. This will include developing a local O&M company from scratch to full operations, developing and leading a passionate and performance driven team, steering quality, performance, and customer satisfaction as well as ensuring economic success in India.

Responsibilities:

•  Plan, implement and review activities to develop and maintain Quality and Environmental Management Systems.
•  Manage compliance (identification of the different requirements – legal, standards and others -, realization of assessment, updating).
•  Set detailed guidelines on what needs to be checked and what the quality standards are.
•  Update our Quality Management System (QMS) with incidents, fixes and improvements.
•  Maintain procedures, records, share information, and monitor their implementation related to Quality and Environment.
•  Manage internal audits.
•  Manage Environment compliances in the organization.
•  Making recommendations on clean-up, reclamation and waste management activities.
• Report environmental incidents, including mishaps such as internal spills, external releases, potential permit non-compliances, and upcoming regulatory inspections etc.
•  Prepare the management review.

Qualifications:

• Languages required: Fluent in English and Hindi.
• Possesses good interpersonal communication skills. 
• Able to communicate internally and externally.
• Have auditing skills (Certification in auditing is preferable).
• Have a good understanding of ISO standards.
• Have a good understanding of Environment requirements.
• Understanding regulatory local requirements related to Environment & Quality.
• Expert in Quality & Environment standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
