DB RRTS is a part of the DB group, a world-leading global railway company with an extensive organization in Germany and projects around the world. Our company offers a technically sophisticated and customized infrastructure, mobility, and transport solutions. We acquire, initiate, and manage rail operations and maintenance projects outside Europe. We are looking for transport and mobility enthusiasts and entrepreneurs with long-standing experience in railway operations and projects in India or worldwide. 


We are currently seeking you to build up and manage the operation and maintenance of a Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) and Mass Rapid Transport System (MRTS) business in Delhi, India. This 82km long Delhi-Meerut line will consist of 25 RRTS and 9 MRTS stations. This will include developing a local O&M company from scratch to full operations, developing and leading a passionate and performance driven team, steering quality, performance, and customer satisfaction as well as ensuring economic success in India.


Responsibilities:


  • Reporting to the Head of Contract Management.
  • Monitoring Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Contract Agreement with Client (NCRTC), monitoring key contractual requirements, Key performance indicators (KPIs), monitoring of key dates and deliverables as per O&M Agreement.
  • Preparation of Contractual opinion on topics as per O&M Agreement.
  • Drafting Contractual letters to Client, subcontractors, and other agencies.
  • Preparation of Change of scope/variations and claims to NCRTC.
  • Drafting Subcontract agreements, Service Agreements, and negotiations with Subcontractors for the ongoing works.
  • Monitoring implementation of Contract Agreements with Subcontractors & Service providers ensuring that it’s in line with budget and contractual obligations and promptly address all contractual issues that may arise and sign transmittals and letters to the relevant stakeholders. This includes the management of Subcontract/Service Agreements including monthly invoice verification and approval.
  • Reporting (Risk analysis).
  • Development of pro-forma documents as necessary for the administration of the contract.
  • Implementation of compensation event procedures in line with the contract - notifying of compensation events, obtaining quotations for same and assessment of compensation events in line with the contract. 
  • Resolving any issues or disputes which occur on the contract in a timely manner.
  • Assisting Head of Contract Management in all other matters related to the Contract Management of O&M Agreement and Subcontract/Service Provider’s Agreement.
Títulos

Qualifications:


  • B. Tech in Civil Engineering, bachelor’s degree in law.
  • 8 – 10 years of professional experience in Contract management and subcontract management.
  • Experience in negotiation process, problem solving competences, excellent communication skills, willingness to achieve win-win-situations.
  • Demonstrates strong understanding of FIDIC Contract Conditions.
  • International working experience in multicultural teams advantageous.
  • Excellent personal administration skills (taking of minutes, conduct presentations, working to agreed deadlines etc.).
  • Excellent Drafting skills.
  • Excellent English skills.
  • Relevant IT-Skills.
