At Schenker Argentina we are looking for an Air Import Assistant to be part of our Air team, who will be responsible for maintaining control of all air imports under their charge and guaranteeing the success of operations by providing the correct attention and information to customers.

What will be your challenges?

• Enter and process consolidated shipments in the system (invoicing, notification of arrival).
• Assist customers and answer their questions.
• Manage freight certification, if applicable.
• Deliver documentation to customers and update this information in the system.
• Update events in operating systems.
• File signed copies of delivered HAWBs (DRB or POD) and import folders.
• Send and receive internal mail with the central office.
• Coordinate shipments of spot customers or those assigned to them. Contact with the outside, customer service and advice.

What you need to succeed (Qualifications, experience, skills, attributes)

• At least 2 years of experience in Freight Forwarding.
• Knowledge of operating standards.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Intermediate English.
