Consent to data analysis to improve the application process
May we process your data to improve our application process?
For the purpose of improving the application process for you and all applicants and optimizing personnel marketing, we would like to process your data without direct personal reference. For this purpose, we link the anonymized data of the individual stages in the recruiting process with each other in order to be able to address candidates in a more targeted manner. We use the collected data, for example, to make job advertisements easier to find on the job exchange and to formulate them more comprehensibly. Another measure is the targeted approach through online advertising, because we only want to address candidates who are interested in working for us. Overall, the analysis of the data helps us to improve the entire application process and make it easier for applicants like you.

To enable us to create the analyses, we combine data from a wide variety of sources. For example, we use vacation and public holiday calendars to identify correlations between applications received and the before mentioned free days. Major events also have an impact on application figures. Statistics from the German Federal Employment Agency, evaluations of the website, statistics from our job exchange partners and many other data provide us with an overall picture that at no time allows us to draw conclusions about your person. We have taken various measures to ensure that none of your personal data can be identified. No direct personal data is used for the data analyses. A personal reference can only be established if additional knowledge is used. The use of additional knowledge is prohibited and inadmissible and is prevented by appropriate technical and organizational measures. We need your consent so that we can also use your data for improvement.

The granting of your consent is not a prerequisite for the further course of the application process. Consent is voluntary in all cases. If you do not give your consent, there will be no negative consequences for you. The deletion periods for personal data of your application specified in our privacy statement (usually 4 months) do not change even if you give your consent.

The responsible party for data processing is Deutsche Bahn AG, Recruitment, Europaplatz 1, 10557 Berlin.
