We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer, supporting the project team in ongoing projects and assisting the technical leads in managing the overall development. This individual will ensure smooth execution of project operations


Responsibilities:


  • Team and Task Management

    · Daily task management and tracking of the offshore team in DC India to ensure timely delivery. 

    · Main contact person for the Germany IT department regarding ongoing activities related to offshore resources in India

    · Support recruiting of offshore resources

    · Responsible for knowledge transfer during onboarding of new colleagues

    · Demonstrate team-leading capabilities

    · Lead a highly motivated team. Team consists of CAD&BIM developers and Microsoft Power Platform developers.

  • Planning and Conceptualization

    · Support the structuring of user stories and tasks for iterative/agile software development

    · Design architecture for complex projects

    · Think outside the box and provide innovative solutions

    · Conduct research and build proofs of concept

  • Development and Implementation

    · Develop automation solutions for Revit/AutoCAD

    · Develop automation solutions using Autodesk Platform Services (e.g., Autodesk Design Automation, AEC Data Model)

    · Use .NET and C# as primary frameworks and languages (candidates must be proficient)

    · Write robust code in C# and basic Python

    · Familiarity with various CAD geometry modeling and operations

    · Understand database fundamentals

    · Work with various text data storage and retrieval methods, including XML and Excel applications

    · Understand design patterns, data structures, data modeling, and software architecture

    · Have deep knowledge of 3D vector geometry operations, equations, and algorithms

  • Quality Assurance and Testing

    · Create criteria for testing and development

    · Perform tool testing and maintain test scenarios

    · Prepare and validate project documentation

  • Collaboration and Tools

    · Collaborate closely with engineering teams to gather data and create proven applications in CAD or BIM systems

    · Extend existing CAD and BIM libraries and frameworks for current tools and technologies

    · Adapt various SDLC tools and follow SDLC processes

    · Be familiar with code maintenance using Git

    · Use Azure DevOps platform for project lifecycle management

    · Know Azure Web Services and be able to create and maintain deployment pipelines





Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer science, information technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience) or Any graduate.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience and knowledge of basic coding languages including Python, C#, HTML, CSS, and Ja-vaScript.
  • Willing to learn leading edge Microsoft enterprise cloud technologies such as Dynamics 365 CRM, Office 365, Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience with SharePoint development will be an added advantage.
  • Have a good understanding of and interest in AI topics, such as Revit MCP Power Platform (nice to have)
  • Knowledge of IFC standards and their underlying data structures (nice to have)
  • Good Communication skills.
