Responsibilities

For our location in Frankfurt we are looking for logistics technician / warehouse specialists (f/m/d) for our data centers.


The DC Associate will be responsible for performing day-to-day operational tasks related to the setup of server racks, inbound & outbound of spare parts and the reverse process of damaged parts at a data center. As part of a 3PL team providing Value Added Services for a global data center customer, the associate will ensure smooth operations by conducting inbound, outbound, rack placement and machine population tasks according to the data center’s standards and procedures. The role requires both independent work and collaboration with the team to complete tasks efficiently while adhering to all security and compliance guidelines. 


Key responsibilities:
  • Loading/Unloading trucks, unpacking, deploying and cabling customers’ IT hardware: Server racks / Trays  / hardware accessories for server racks in multiple Datacenters in Frankfurt and suburbs 
  • Physical and systematical handling inbound and outbound orders in line with operational procedures, using SAP and WMS  
  • Control items’ stock levels to ensure adherence to minimum and maximum thresholds
  • Processing computer parts with special equipment
  • Maintain the security and integrity of sensitive IT components while handling them
  • Processing customer requests per ticketing system 
  • Identify and report equipment or machine issues, adhering to established data center procedures
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment, including proper maintenance of tools used for tasks
Qualifications
Minimum requirements:
  • Prior experience in logistics, warehousing, or a similar role.

  • Ability to handle physical tasks such as moving server racks and other IT equipment.

  • Basic understanding of IT hardware

  • Experience with SAP or WMS for processing orders and stock movements is an advantage

  • Attention to detail and adherence to data center security and safety procedures

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

  • Physical ability to lift and move equipment up to 50lb (23kg) and perform tasks requiring frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and pushing/pulling

  • Good English and German knowledge (written and spoken)


Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify when something is not working as intended
  • Strong fine motor skills and attention to detail in working with small, sensitive hardware components
  • Rational thinking and the ability to follow logical steps to resolve issues
