The project - NHSRCL Mumbai-Ahmedabad - Mumbai, India. We are hiring for the position of Expert Finance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate financial activities with financiers and funding agencies (if applicable), and maintain required financial documentation and records.
• Review and monitor Contractor’s Performance Security, Advance Payment Guarantees, and Insurance documents, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
• Verify and process Contractor’s financial statements and invoices, and assist in preparation of Interim Payment Certificates (IPC) and Final Payment Certificates.
• Prepare and maintain financial data for monthly and quarterly progress reports, and reconcile financial information with Client financial records.
• Monitor and reconcile physical progress with financial progress, ensuring alignment between project execution and financial disbursements.
• Maintain cash flow data, payment tracking, and financial progress monitoring to support project financial control.
• Coordinate with contract, project controls, and client teams for financial reporting and payment-related matters.
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and supporting documents as required for project and client review.
• Perform finance-related duties assigned by the Chief Expert-Contract, Project Director, and Client (NHSRCL) for successful project execution.

• Graduate in field of Finance.
• 07 years of experience in financial management during construction phase in Rail-based Transit System project(s)(i)  funded by Bilateral/Multilateral Development Banks/Agencies.
• Knowledge of project finance management, including invoice verification, payment processing, and cash flow monitoring.
• Experience in Interim Payment Certificate (IPC) and Final Payment Certificate support, and financial reconciliation.
• Ability to review Bank Guarantees, Performance Security, Advance Payment Guarantees, and Insurance documents.
• Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and progress reconciliation using MS Excel and financial systems.
• Understanding of contractual and commercial terms related to project payments, with good coordination and communication skills.
