We are currently seeking a Senior Contract Administrator to work with us on a project in Ireland. 



Responsibilities:
  • Provide full support in managing contracts by ensuring smooth administration during the construction phase and effective transition into operational phases of the project
  • Lead contract administration for construction and operational phases, ensuring compliance and smooth transitions
  • Manage Consultancy and Advisor Contracts, fulfilling all contractual obligations efficiently
  • Maintain and oversee contract manuals, processes, and procedures for claims, meetings, and communications, ensuring timely resolution or escalation of issues
  • Organise and maintain accurate contract filing and documentation systems for easy reference and audit
  • Oversee financial management operations, ensuring adherence to procedures and meticulous record-keeping
  • Select and implement contract administration systems (e.g., CEMAR) during procurement
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks during construction and operational phases
  • Perform other duties as required by the role

Qualifikationen
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience, with at least 5 years of contract administration experience and at least 5 years’ experience leading contract administration activities across the project lifecycle of high value metro rail projects
  • At least Bachelor degree (Honours Bachelor Degree) (or equivalent) in relevant subject area e.g. Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Quantity Surveying, Business or a related field
  • Master’s degree (M.Sc.) in a related field would be advantageous
  • Experience managing large Public-Private Partnership (PPP) contracts
  • Skilled in administering contracts, with particular expertise in the NEC suite
  • Proven history of handling commercial agreements, demonstrating legal awareness of contract risks, and drafting complex, bespoke contract terms for supplies, services, and framework agreements
  • Demonstrated ability to drive best practice across technical activities, processes, policies, and standards
  • Deep understanding of the design and delivery requirements for complex projects in architecture, engineering, and construction
  • Skilled at engaging stakeholders at all organisational levels to improve processes and provide guidance for project delivery and reporting
  • Knowledge of quality management and process improvement systems, preferably within the construction industry
  • NEC Reg 
  • Chartered member of a relevant professional body, e.g. Chartered Engineer (MICE, IEI or equivalent) or Chartered Quantity Surveyor (SCSI / RICS)
  • Proven skill in managing contractor relationships at both executive and operational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to oversee technical deliverables and drive process efficiency.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
  • Strong governance and outcome-driven approach to consistently deliver high-quality service.
