For Saudi Arabia, we are looking for a passionate Fare and Ticketing Expert (m/f/d).



Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of fare policy and ticketing systems (AFC) for public transport services
  • Support development and management of fare structures, pricing strategies, and revenue management frameworks
  • Oversee the operation and integration of Automated Fare Collection (AFC) systems, including cards, mobile ticketing, and payment platforms
  • Ensure interoperability between AFC, AVM, and other intelligent transport systems
  • Monitor system performance and ensure compliance with KPIs, SLAs, and contractual requirements
  • Analyze ridership, revenue, and transaction data to improve fare policies and system efficiency
  • Coordinate with stakeholders (operators, banks, technology providers) to ensure secure and seamless payment solutions
  • Support troubleshooting, upgrades, and continuous improvement of ticketing technologies and customer interfaces



Kvalifikationer
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Transport Planning, IT Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in fare systems and ticketing within public transport or mobility projects
  • Proven experience with AFC technologies, including smart cards, EMV/contactless payments, and mobile ticketing
  • Strong understanding of fare policy design, revenue management, and transport economics
  • Experience managing AFC vendors, integrators, and performance-based contracts
  • Familiarity with system integration across ITS domains (AFC, AVM, back-office systems)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data analysis, reporting, and KPI monitoring
  • Excellent stakeholder coordination and communication skills in multi-disciplinary environments.
