Your Tasks:


  • Technical management expertise concerning electrical rolling stock, especially locos.
  • Coordinate and advise Alstom (former Bombardier) TRAXX supply project.
  • Review technical documents from the technical review team and from suppliers.
  • Participate in project management meetings with the client and with suppliers.
  • Conduct technical evaluation of tenders, variations, changes and non-compliances as well as technical recommendations.
  • Coordinate and consult regarding technical integration and retrofit of ordered rolling stock.
  • Test, verify and validate software and hardware changes executed on rolling stock by supplier.
  • Support the project team, consultants and suppliers with statutory approvals and interface resolutions.
  • Conduct serial testing of new rolling stock being delivered to Israel.
  • Execute risk analysis and give advice regarding necessary counter measures.
Qualificações

Qualifications:


  • University degree (B.Sc./M.Sc.) in electrical or electro-mechanical engineering.
  • At least 10-15 years of experience in railway projects.
  • Long standing experience in electrical rolling stock manufacturing, testing or maintenance.
  • Experience with Alstom (former Bombardier) as supplier and TRAXX locomotives.
  • Experience in the technical supervision of railway projects.
  • Familiarity with standardization and norms, incl. European norms (EN, TSI, UIC).
  • Comprehensive knowledge about interfaces between locomotives and passenger trains/coaches.
  • Knowledge about dual-system technology (electro & diesel) for locomotives would be an asset.
  • Willingness to re-locate to Israel for at least 2 years.
  • Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
