We’re seeking an experienced Customer Operations Manager to lead our Airfreight team in Manchester. Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
What Will You Be Doing?
- Lead and motivate the team to achieve operational excellence and meet business goals.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment with effective communication and performance management.
- Develop and implement strategies to align customer expectations with business objectives.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve operational efficiency.
- Ensure effective resource planning and customer satisfaction through seamless service delivery.
- Oversee financial planning, including budgets and forecasts, to meet profitability targets.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, industry standards, and UK/Ireland legislation.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and identify opportunities for growth.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Proven experience in an operational management role, preferably within the airfreight or logistics industry.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- A track record of meeting operational and financial targets.
- Experience in implementing process improvements and driving business growth.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize workflows and improve service quality.
- Knowledge of compliance standards and best practices in logistics and freight operations.
- A results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and customer excellence.
