The DMS Warehouse Clerk is responsible for utilizing an automated shuttle system (DMS), warehouse management system (WMS), to fulfill parts orders and kit box in a safe, efficient, accurate, and damage free manner. Verify part number and quantity of parts to warehousing paperwork (packing slip), screen for obvious damage on parts (segregate if needed), safely handle (package as required) and accurately complete associated electronic transactions in Warehouse Management System. Tasks & Responsibilities: •Utilizing Warehouse Management System (WMS): Successfully completing required training for the use of WMS, which involves the use of a computer unit with physical keyboard. The WMS requires being able to read and understand the English language. •Safely operating Dematic equipment in a fast paced, high traffic environment that includes pedestrian traffic. •Verify part mark stamp and quantity of parts is correct. •Verifying item numbers, case counts, code dates; removing damaged product from totes and properly documenting. •Electronically process transaction WMS and stage on designated cart/rack. •Package parts following Material Handling Guidelines/kitting requirements/kit boxes. •Adhere to 5S requirements (methodology) within personal work area and area of responsibility. •Picking product utilizing automated shuttle system on a designated inbound or outbound lane. •Picking requires you to lift, pull, push, and manipulate the product in many ways to enable you to get the product staged for inbound and outbound deliveries. •Adhere to all safety guidance/principles.
