DB E&C is seeking for a System Integration Specialist (f/m/d) for an upcoming bid/project in Dhaka, Bangladesh. The project duration will be 42 months and on-site.
It is a "Consutruction Supervision Consultant" project for the Dhaka Mass Rapid Transit Development Investment Project (Line - 5): Southern route. The project includes a 17.2 km metro line consisting of 13.1 km underground and 4.1 km elevated alignment with 11 undergroung and 4 elevated stations.
Responsibilities and Tasks in Detail:
- Reports directly to the System Integration Lead Specialist.
- Ensure the proper implementation of relevant manuals, rules, and regulations as stipulated in the contract, and oversee the Contractor’s execution of work in accordance with the specified requirements and project timelines.
- Coordinate with the system integration team to design and document all software integration solutions.
- Support system integration activities across the Railway System to ensure seamless functionality and interoperability of all subsystems.
Required abilities, skills and competencies:
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or a closely related field.
- Possesses over 12 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 8 years in rail-bound system projects.
- Demonstrates a proven track record of participation in at least one international project and/or projects funded by Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) or Development Partners.
- Exhibits professional fluency in English, both written and spoken.
