Position Overview

The Bid & Delivery Manager – I.TA-APAC will be responsible for end-to-end bid management activities across the APAC region, with a primary focus on Expression of Interest (EoI), Request for Qualification (RfQ), and Request for Proposal (RfP)/Tender submissions. This role will primarily cover the Southeast (all countries in the APAC region). 

The position will report directly to the Head of Bid & Delivery Management – I.TA-APAC and be based in Bangalore or New Delhi, India.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Bid & Delivery – I.TA-APAC in all bid preparation and submission activities.
  • Lead strategic and high-value bids as Bid Manager, ensuring alignment with intake order (IO) KPIs.
  • Manage the full bid lifecycle:
    • Analyze and understand EoI/RfQ/RfP documents.
    • Represent DB E&C at pre-bid meetings and clarification sessions.
    • Organize bid kick-off and strategy meetings.
    • Coordinate inputs from technical, commercial, legal, and other stakeholders.
    • Ensure timely and high-quality submission of bid documents.
  • Ensure technical excellence and adherence to DB E&C brand standards to maximize bid evaluation scores.
  • Maintain full compliance with internal governance processes (C-00 and C-01) throughout the bid lifecycle—from opportunity identification to contract signing.
  • Monitor competitor activities and market strategies. Replace market strategies with monitor competitors and upcoming major projects, tenders in pipeline, monitor potential clients websites for tenders.
  • Ensure compliance with all DB E&C policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Undertake any additional duties assigned by the Head of Bid & Delivery – I.TA-APAC or their delegate.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Preferred )


Experience:

  •  Minimum 10 years of total professional experience.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in business development and/or bid management for rail-based transit systems or infrastructure consultancy projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in responding to tenders from multilateral financing agencies, government clients is mandatory.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Able to work independently 
  • Excellent communication skills.  
  • Strong bid management and coordination capabilities.  
  • High attention to detail and ability to write clear and persuasive bid content.
  • Market awareness.
