Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced and skilled local Track Specialist (f/m/d) for a Railway Infrastructure Project in Egypt. The Track Specialist will focus on the design, construction, and maintenance of railway track systems within the railway construction supervision project. Their expertise ensures that track installations are completed to high industry standards, promoting safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Engineering: Collaborate with engineering teams to develop effective track designs that meet project specifications and industry standards.
• Construction Oversight: Supervise track installation and construction activities, ensuring adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance strategies for track systems to ensure long-term operational reliability and safety.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and audits of track components and construction practices to maintain high-quality standards throughout the project.
• Problem Solving: Identify and address technical challenges related to track construction, providing practical solutions to overcome obstacles.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all track-related activities comply with safety regulations and industry best practices, promoting a safe work environment.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

We particularly welcome applications from candidates with professional experience in the Egyptian construction sector, including familiarity with local regulations, language, and working culture.

• University degree in Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in design construction, and maintenance of railway track systems, in railway infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in construction supervision railway projects.
• IT and relevant software proficiency.
• Fluency in English, Arabic would be a plus.
