We are seeking a HASTUS Planning Scheduling Expert as part of our DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH Branch Office. The job opening is located in the Middle East and offers exciting challenges and potential for career growth.
- Review the Bus Operator’s crowd management plan
- Review and evaluation of design documents regarding projected traffic – and dispatch facilities for pedestrians respectively bus passengers
- Review and evaluate management documents regarding pedestrian traffic control, guidance and information systems, analyses and forecasts of pedestrian traffic volumes and pedestrian crowds/flows to be handled.
- Crosscheck Capacity calculations and quality/security check of traffic facilities for pedestrians.
- Supervision of arrangement, dimensioning and implementation of traffic facilities for pedestrians.
- Liaison with stakeholders
- Minimum 14 years’ experience includes 5 years in the transportation sector with emphasis in public transportation operations and HASTUS Planning Scheduling and involved in big and major infrastructure projects of similar nature
- Preferably with regional and international expertise, specifically 5 years’ experience in the Middle East
- Knowledge of international best practices and norms international working experience in multicultural teams advantageous
- Excellent personal administration skills (taking of minutes, conduct presentations, working to agreed deadlines etc.)
- Excellent English skills
- Full Computer Literacy
- BSc, BEng, BA or equivalent Degree in a relevant discipline
- Chartered Status / Professional License preferred
