We are seeking a Bus Operations Expert as part of our DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH Branch Office. The job opening is located in Makkah, Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and offers exciting challenges and potential for career growth.
- Provide direction, supervision, support and guidance on all public transportation activities for Bus operations to the Project Director and Public Transport Expert.
- Field-based duties to ensure operations are to the required standards and continuous development is implemented.
- Ensure the Makkah Bus Operations are completed in a timely manner, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Work with the Makkah Bus Operator, government agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders to develop and implement transportation solutions.
- Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, and prioritize passenger safety.
- Implement and manage technological advancements to improve service delivery, such as real-time tracking and automated fare collection systems.
- Engage with the community to gather feedback, educate the public about services, and promote public transportation benefits.
- Address operational challenges and develop solutions to improve service reliability and efficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree holder, Qualified, Chartered.
- Total minimum of 14 years plus experience includes 5 years relevant experience in the field of bus operations.
- Preferably with regional and international expertise, specifically 5 years experience in the Middle East.
- Seasoned, well experienced professional from a bus operating background and shall provide direction, supervision, advice and guidance on all bus operational matters.
- Experience working with Ministry, Government Agencies, Public & Private Stakeholders in the Middle East.
- Experience in big operation and maintenance set-up and can handle multi-national workforce.
- Preferably proficiency in Arabic language, speaking, writing & reading. Plus, English language skills both spoken and written.
- Preference given to Muslim applicants due to the location of the bus operation.
- Full Computer Literacy.
- Excellent communication skills are essential to success in this role.
- Driving license required to drive to site or to technical meetings with the client representative.
